Has there ever been a more appropriate adjective in a band name than the rippin in Rippin Chicken? I mean these guys RIP! They were in session here recently and were even inspired to write a track influenced by Bell Creek Studio itself "Iris Springs," which is how some of them fondly refer to our studio due to the garden's inspirational waterfalls. We absolutely love it when these guys come around and are planning a live release in the near future.
Funk visionary, Lucky Brown returned again to Bell Creek Studio recently to mix his "Deep Funk Frontiers." Lucky always impresses us with his ocean of creativity and his unique Lo-Fi sensibilities. We love working with this special musician, and as a multiple repeat Bell Creek Studio artist, we believe the feeling is mutual.
If you can forgive a biblical analogy, we like to say at Bell Creek that Jeff Grant is to vocals as Moses is to the ten commandments…He's that good. One of MBison's founding members, Jeff has an uncanny vision with his voice, an absolute pleasure to record. Did I mention he 's a great song writer?
We absolutely adore Keri Jioras here at Bell Creek Studio. A true song bird, her debut record "White Swan" showcases her endearing and captivating voice with her natural songwriting gifts. Powerful and delicate, her songs evoke strong emotions, both tears and bountiful smiles.
A local resident of the Nooksak Valley, Jimmy Brite brings a unique songwriting perspective to Americana. A founding member of the NW blue grass band Bent Grass, Jimmy is a true gift to the musical aficionados of Glacier, WA. and branched out with this solo project, "Country". Think of Arlo Guthrie with a 21'st century sensibility.
A special and gifted Seattle band, M.Bison recorded their self-titled release at Bell Creek Studio. Combining adventurous song writing, premier musicianship and lush harmonies, we believe this is one of the finest rock bands in the northwest. They enjoyed recording Bell Creek so much they utilized a unique vintage landscape feature for their album cover and are currently involved in subsequent recordings here.
